A new monthly women’s magazine, titled “Ready Go!” has gone on sale. The magazine is based on the concept of Hamasaki Ayumi’s (24) lifestyle. At this point, it’s hard to tell if this is an effort to boost her somewhat flagging sales figures or a sign of undiminished fan interest. Or maybe it’s just another spin-off from an ego out of control. Rumors about Ayu’s less than pleasant personality last year saw her start a regular TV show, “Ayu Ready?” on Saturday nights that was as much about image control as anything.
