The World premier of the latest, and last Godzilla movie took place in Hollywood, Los Angeles on Monday. 1,000 fans turned out to see “Godzilla: Final Wars”, the 28th movie in the series that started exactly 50 years ago. The so-called “King of Monsters” also unveiled his own star in the Walk of Fame, in a prime location smack in front of the famous Chinese Theater.
• The winners of the 29th Hochi Movie Awards were announced yesterday. The Best Actress award went to Matsu Takako (27) for her role in “Kakushi Ken, Oni to Tsume” the latest samurai drama by Yamada Yoji. Popular young star Tsumabuki Satoshi (23), who has been in six movies in the last two years, took Best Actor.
